The Personal Information We Collect on Our Website
We also collect information automatically from our customers and Website users, as described below.
We may maintain a log of certain information concerning visitors to our Website, including but not limited to, a visitor’s IP address (a computer’s numerical Internet address), the websites from which visitors access our Website, the type of web browsers used to access our Website, the device used to access our Website, and the pages viewed. We only use this type of information to understand how our Website is accessed, how it is used and how we may improve our Website.
Our Website does not currently recognize and process “do not track” signals from different web browsers.

You may opt out of such communications by following the opt-out instructions contained in the email. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt out of receiving emails about recommendations, we may still send you emails about your account.
With Whom We Share Information Collected on Our Website
We may share your Personal Information with third parties, including third-party service providers. Third-party service providers may include, for example, job application platforms, email delivery services or cloud service providers.
In such instances, we may share limited Personal Information that is necessary for the third party to provide its services. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your Personal Information for their own purposes and they are only permitted to use this information on our behalf. All our third-party service providers are required to take appropriate security measures to protect your Personal Information. We only permit them to process your Personal Information for specified purposes and in accordance with our written agreements and instructions. We do not sell your Personal Information to any third parties.
We provide you with access to a third-party service provider to submit means for submitting your resume or other Personal Information to us for consideration for employment opportunities at Evolv. Personal Information received through resume submissions will be kept confidential. We may contact you for additional information to supplement your resume, and we may use your Personal Information within Evolv, or keep it on file for future use, as we make our hiring decisions.
Retention of Information
We will retain your Personal Information for as long as it is needed to provide you the services it was collected for and as necessary to comply with any legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or as otherwise reasonably necessary for our internal business purposes. When it is no longer necessary to retain your Personal Information, we will securely destroy it in accordance with applicable laws. We may retain anonymized or pseudonymized, aggregated data indefinitely, to the extent permitted under applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under age 13. Anyone under 13 should not use the Website. If you have reason to believe that we may have accidentally received Personal Information from an individual under age 13, please contact us immediately at email@example.com . If we learn we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us. Cross-device/cross-context technology may be used to connect these various accounts or profiles and the corresponding data from the different contexts and devices.

- You have the right to opt-out of the sale of Personal Information; however, Evolv does not sell or rent any Personal Information to any third parties.
We will process the above rights requests in accordance with applicable law. To process your request, we may need to verify your identity in order to avoid fraudulent requests and ensure you are the California resident who is making the request. To properly verify your identity, we may ask you to provide some information that we can attempt to match with Personal Information we may have about you. This may include your full name, your phone number, and/or your email and/or postal address. Once a request is verified, we will search our internal systems for any of your Personal Information that we may have. Once we have located any of your Personal Information, we will work to comply with your applicable request.
You have the right to appoint an agent who is registered with the Secretary of State of California to submit requests and exercise the above rights on your behalf. We may require the agent to submit to us written permission from you as well as have you verify your identity directly with us. In the event an agent is not able to provide written permission to act on your behalf, we are within our rights to deny a rights request.
In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of Personal Information from California residents that have visited, used or interacted with our Website:
- Contact information, such as name, email address and contact number, submitted through our Website (e.g. information required to send us a message through the Website, download a white paper or e-book, etc.).
