Deputy General Counsel, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer

Rachel Roy serves as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. Rachel has broad in-house counsel experience, helping to drive operational excellence and growth through scaled innovation, collaboration and inclusion. She has extensive experience building and leading global legal teams, including at VMware, Inc. where she led an international team of attorneys responsible for advising on employment, DEI, and cultural matters across its 35,000+ employee population located in over 65 countries.  Prior to joining VMware, Rachel worked both in private practice and with other multinational companies including, Sensata Technologies, Publicis Groupe, and Sapient Corporation. Her passion for equal opportunity, diversity, ethics and integrity remains strong goals for her serving as Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Brandeis University, as well as a Juris Doctor in Law from Suffolk University Law School.
