Making the World Safer to Live, Work, Learn and Play

At Evolv, we provide a secure and seamless screening experience, making it possible for venues of all kinds to keep visitors safe from concealed weapons, public health threats and intruders. People screening that’s intelligent, low-profile and incredibly accurate — that’s what we do.

Our Mission:
Protecting Innocent People

Evolv Technology started as a small team with a clear mission: return confidence and peace of mind to people visiting public spaces. As the leader in human security, our team is dedicated to making the world a safer place by helping to protect innocent people from mass shootings and terrorist attacks. Our technology enhances safety without sacrificing the visitor, student and employee experience.

Our Platform:
Evolv Cortex AI

Evolv’s touchless screening system for weapons detection and health-related threats is built on the Evolv Cortex AI software platform. Our touchless security has become the standard for visitor and employee security, stopping more than 5,000 weapons from entering public attractions, stadiums, casinos, hospitals, schools, entertainment venues, government facilities, houses of worship, and hotels.

Feeling Safe Should Be the Default

In our world, safety isn’t guaranteed. Never has been, never will be. But in recent years, the risk profile of public spaces has changed. Military installations, embassies, and airports have given way to workplaces, grocery stores, churches, and schools as the favored targets of organized terrorists and lone wolves. People feel less safe.

But no one wants to live in a world where every place they go reminds them of airport security. A metal detector at every entrance isn’t just inconvenient, it’s frightening: a persistent reminder of possible threats. Evolv exists to make everywhere safer while allowing everyone to enjoy their everyday lives.

At its core, Evolv makes this experience possible by enabling flow. Through a combination of technologies that include advanced sensors, machine learning, cloud analytics, and centralized data stores, the Evolv platform creates a seamless experience for visitors to public venues while helping security personnel spot guns, knives, and explosives with ease and accuracy. Evolv’s low profile ensures venues won’t have to compromise customer experience to increase safety. People who don’t pose a threat pass right through, while security teams can be confident that the bad actors won’t.

Evolv’s mission couldn’t have higher stakes, and for many at Evolv those stakes are personal. Evolv’s leaders and team members have seen friends and colleagues killed and injured in terrorist attacks. They come to work every day driven by a sense of deep purpose. Evolv’s products can save lives. At the same time, the team refuses to put anyone at risk by overpromising. Evolv is always upfront about what its technology can and can’t do.

Security can only be effective if it works in the real world. It must integrate with the way people want to live, and the way they deserve to live. Feeling safe should be the default. Evolv can act as a gateway to a greater sense of assurance: more effective, less intrusive, adaptable to today’s threats, and tomorrow’s.
